welcome to my page! I’m Annick Durán Kandzior, a trained actress and currently pursuing a master’s degree in Spiel und Objekt at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch in Berlin. I explore the meeting point between theater/performance and soft robotics. With this goal I build soft robots, which I call creatures. Sometimes they are half animal and half machine, sometimes half plant and half machine. The soft materials I work with are silicone, air, and other pliable substances to design speculative scenarios and breathing machines.
